Owl Dish Scrubbie

Here is the window dressing promised in the Scrubbie Teaser Post from a couple weeks ago! How freaking adorable are these little owls???? I was so excited when my friend came to me with this idea! I approached Lorene from Cre8tion Crochet and asked her what she thought about me linking to her post and I was soooo glad that she was ok with it! Look how cute these are!!!!!
Alright, so step one is going to be to complete the scrubbie from the previous post, found HERE. Once you have completed that you can follow along with the rest of the pattern here:

Chevron Love Afghan

Let's get ready to CHEVROOOON!!!
Woohoo!!! This pattern has been tested and is now ready for you to all enjoy! It's actually pretty simple. I think you all will be pleasantly impressed. I had so much fun making this afghan. I haven't made one in about 5 yrs. I got into a slump and between this chevron afghan and another that has me busy currently, I have come back into the world of afghans! I LOVE making them again! : D HOORAY! Also, for me, it was so fun and refreshing to be making this in boy colors. I have two girls so it isn't often that I get to play around with blues and greens and it was so so much fun!

To catch you up in case you have no idea what I am talking about: color pooling with yarn is what happens when you work with a variegated yarn and the colors either seem to group together or form distinguishable patterns within your finished item. I'm sure you've made a hat or and somehow the green in the variegated yarn always seems line up or something similar. Planned pooling is basically planning ahead of time to make your variegated yarn come together in a way that creates a …
