The Knit Me Knot Dishcloth started out as an "I wonder if I can make this happen" experiment. I actually prefer to knit my dishcloths. Cotton yarn is a bit more expensive and knitting helps the yarn stretch farther. I have a friend that really loves the very popular, traditional, corner to corner, knit dishcloths but doesn't know how to knit. She loves the little ridges because she can get her finger in there and scrub better. She does know how to crochet but hasn't found a pattern she really loves yet that has that scrubby feature she likes. Since I was making dishcloths anyway I decided to play around with my hook to see what I could come up with that might be more what she was looking for and the Knit Me Knot Dishcloth was born!
