Urban Reflection CAL Week 4: Border and Blocking

My New Craft Room - Part 2

Weeeeeeellllll....... I didn't get as far as I wanted to. However I am so so so close! I *think* I have a plan for how to get it all to fit. Winding it up into cakes will help some I think.
Want to know what my hubby said when he walked in and saw this? "We need to get you more shelves." Seriously best hubby in the world award is on it's way to him! "You might be able to get this to all fit but we both know you aren't going to stop buying yarn." Hehehehe I LOVE that man!!!!
Here is all that is left, a couple of trash bags and a big pile behind them and then those bags on the desk. I did get all the material into the drawers (minus the tote that I need to pull out storage..) Hopefully I'll get the rest of it done this week and I'll have finished photos for you soon!

Be Happy!

  1. It's really coming on well, isn't it? :)
Your Hubby's right, though - you definitely need more shelves! Lol

    1. I know... lol I really do! I'm hoping I can squeeze all this in there and then get some more so I can add some "growing space." Lol

  2. Wow, Nice work! It's really coming together. I'll bet it feels good to have it almost done! It even looks like a shop you could go shopping in :) how fun. It looks good, good Job sis!

    1. Thanks!!!! It does look pretty, lol. Really pretty! I'm plotting all sorts of new patterns every time I go in and work on it. It's amazing seeing it all out in one place!

Chevron Love Afghan

Let's get ready to CHEVROOOON!!! Woohoo!!! This pattern has been tested and is now ready for you to all enjoy! It's actually pretty simple. I think you all will be pleasantly impressed. I had so much fun making this afghan. I haven't made one in about 5 yrs. I got into a slump and between this chevron afghan and another that has me busy currently, I have come back into the world of afghans! I LOVE making them again! : D HOORAY! Also, for me, it was so fun and refreshing to be making this in boy colors. I have two girls so it isn't often that I get to play around with blues and greens and it was so so much fun! Infinity Hooded Scarf

Ok friends, I know that I have been promising this pattern for a while on FB. Hope it was worth the wait! {Fingers crossed} This is an infinity scarf which means it is made in one continuous circle. {No weird awkward ends to tuck in somewhere!} In this version I have attached a hood for extra warmth in the wind, rain, and snow that come with fall and winter. The nice thing about this particular pattern is that you have the option of making it with and without the hood. They are worked separately and then attached. The scarf looks beautiful both ways. Enough talking - lets get hooking!! Infinity Hooded Scarf This pattern has been sold to All Free Crochet and can be found HERE . Owl Dish Scrubbie

Here is the window dressing promised in the Scrubbie Teaser Post from a couple weeks ago! How freaking adorable are these little owls???? I was so excited when my friend came to me with this idea! I approached Lorene from Cre8tion Crochet and asked her what she thought about me linking to her post and I was soooo glad that she was ok with it! Look how cute these are!!!!!  Alright, so step one is going to be to complete the scrubbie from the previous post, found HERE . Once you have completed that you can follow along with the rest of the pattern here: Materials  Cotton yarn in as many colors as you like. (You will want to use cotton so that it absorbs water and is more durable for repeated washings. I (5.5 mm) Hook Yarn needle Extra strips of nylon net material from previous step. You are going to stuff the owl with it. Notes You can put a scrubbie in front, or in back or in both places. However you think it will work best! I have completed one owl with the
