Urban Reflection CAL Week 4: Border and Blocking

Buffalo Check Obsession Scarf

I've always been drawn to gingham patterns. I love that buffalo check plaid and gingham are coming back into the fashion world. They are so on trend right now! This winter when this red and black buffalo check plaid went crazy I fell in LOVE with it. I really have buffalo check plaid obsession! I wonder if it's diagnosable?.. It took me longer then I was hoping, but I finally was able to get the look I wanted. I hope you love it as much as I do! This pattern is a little more advanced as the best way to make the plaid checkered squares is to carry your yarn, there is also joining and surface crochet. I've included step by step photos for the more complicated parts that I hope will be helpful. It is a beautiful, cozy, warm scarf and I hope you enjoy making it! The Buffalo Check Obsession Scarf has two options, either a cowl that would wrap around your neck once or an infinity that would wrap around twice. The modeled pictures are of the infinity scarf.
