Chevron Love Afghan

Let's get ready to CHEVROOOON!!!
Woohoo!!! This pattern has been tested and is now ready for you to all enjoy! It's actually pretty simple. I think you all will be pleasantly impressed. I had so much fun making this afghan. I haven't made one in about 5 yrs. I got into a slump and between this chevron afghan and another that has me busy currently, I have come back into the world of afghans! I LOVE making them again! : D HOORAY! Also, for me, it was so fun and refreshing to be making this in boy colors. I have two girls so it isn't often that I get to play around with blues and greens and it was so so much fun!

Bobble Car Seat Blanket

This is a gift EVERY new mother needs! How many times have you been leaving the store, bags in one hand, baby carrier in the other and up blows the wind? Trying to shield the baby and keep the blanket on them without dropping all your bags can be one challenging balance act for even the most talented contortionist! Or there is the ever so simple problem of the active child that kicks off every blanket that you place over them. NO MORE! This blanket is specifically designed to be locked into the car seat without adding extra bulk under the straps that can jeopardize the safety of the baby.

It has two slits in the blanket that allow you to slip the bottom lock of the car seat through the blanket and then strap the child underneath it.

The blanket is designed to fit right over the car seat without extra length hanging off the edges and the bobbled stitches give your little one something to touch and feel. So let's get started!! : ) This is the perfect baby shower gift and because it i…

I approached Lorene from Cre8tion Crochet and asked her what she thought about me linking to her post and I was soooo glad that she was ok with it! Look how cute these are!!!!!
Alright, so step one is going to be to complete the scrubbie from the previous post, found HERE. Once you have completed that you can follow along with the rest of the pattern here:
Materials  Cotton yarn in as many colors as you like. (You will want to use cotton so that it absorbs water and is more durable for repeated washings. I (5.5 mm) Hook Yarn needle Extra strips of nylon net material from previous step. You are going to stuff the owl with it.
Notes You can put a scrubbie in front, or in back or in both places. However you think it will work best! I have completed one owl with the scrubbie in the front (the orange an…
